Two Fathers from Texas and Brazil Discuss How the Company’s CBD Oil Helped Their Daughters
SAN DIEGO, Calif., July 18, 2018 — Medical Marijuana, Inc. (OTC:MJNA), the first publicly traded cannabis company in the United States, today announced that it has garnered news coverage in a San Diego Union-Tribune “Community Spotlight Radio Show” segment, featuring Norberto Fischer and Dustin Howard. This segment discusses how their daughters benefited from taking cannabidiol (CBD) product Real Scientific Hemp Oil (RSHO).
In the July 13, 2018, segment, Dustin Howard, advocate and father of the late Harper Howard, and Norberto Fischer, Brazilian father of Anny Fischer and spokesperson for Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s subsidiary HempMeds® Brasil , discuss the legal landscape of cannabis in the U.S. versus Brazil and also how listeners can get involved with their local and federal governments to fight for cannabis in their countries.
“It was an honor to share my family’s story and continue spreading information about cannabis and CBD,” said Medical Marijuana, Inc. advocate Dustin Howard. “Each one of us can make a difference by educating others and telling our politicians why this is so important.”
With CBD, the Howards had the opportunity to improve Harper’s quality of life and spend years getting to know the little Dallas girl. Harper sadly passed away in January 2016, but left a legacy that led to cannabis laws in Brazil changing for good.
Norberto Fischer, Brazilian father and spokesperson for Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s subsidiary HempMeds® Brasil , was inspired by Howard’s wife’s Facebook posts detailing their success with CBD and after Anny experienced similar results, went on to petition the Brazilian government and received the first-ever legal import of RSHO.
“I really appreciate the Howards for posting their experience with CBD because it changed my daughter and my family’s life,” said Fischer. “Sharing my experience on this show was great because I believe we can change the world with information and education.”
The segment also covers Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s crucial role in bringing reliable CBD products to South America, the increasing popular demand for products containing CBD oil around the world, and the documentary Ilegal that follows Fischer and his family through the process of winning the legal battle to have Real Scientific Hemp Oil imported into Brazil for their daughter.
“Our entire family of companies is excited to be featured in this radio segment,” said Medical Marijuana, Inc. CEO Dr. Stuart Titus. “The stories of Harper and Anny encapsulate why making high-quality, trusted products is so important to us. We look forward to expanding our presence in Brazil and throughout the world.”
